We are pleased to announce newly appointed leadership of the Community Servings Board of Directors. They are wonderful additions to our organization and we feel privileged to have their incredible support of our mission to provide food and nutrition services to the critically ill.

Beverly Edgehill, ED.D.

As Vice President of Organizational Development and Community Relations at TJX Companies, Beverly brings to the board her expertise in guiding leaders and their teams to gain alignment between business strategy, organizational priorities and individual work performance.

Bev has also served in the position of President and CEO of The Partnership, a non-profit leadership development organization, and is featured in a Harvard Business School case study about the organization. She has also served under both the Bush and Obama administrations as a regional selection panelist for the White House Fellows program.

Bev completed her doctoral studies at Columbia University, Teachers College, with a degree in Adult and Organizational Learning.

 

Rick Musiol, Jr.

As Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Public Affairs (New England Region) for Citizens Bank, Rick is responsible for leading the bank’s local charitable contributions and sponsorship work while also serving as strategic advisor to state presidents and other senior leaders regarding community-related activities. As a board member, Musiol will advise in the areas of community engagement, corporate charitable contributions and sponsorships.

Prior to his current role, Musiol served as the Chief of Staff to the President of the Massachusetts Senate during which he led a team of more than 20 staff members in developing the Senate President’s policy agenda, working with members, committee chairs and staff on the policy initiatives of the Massachusetts Senate.

Rick is a graduate of Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and holds a Master of Science in Public Affairs from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. A native Cape Codder, Rick resides in Boston’s South End.

 

Dr. Oliver Rosen
As the Chief Medical Officer at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Rosen brings to Community Servings years of medical and healthcare expertise.

“I am especially drawn to Community Servings’ Food is Medicine approach. The greater Boston area is a hub for health care innovation. The focus of the Food is Medicine initiative is to ensure that food insecurity does not jeopardize the medical advancements we have seen for a lot of critical and chronic disease,” says Dr. Rosen.

Prior to joining Deciphera, Dr. Rosen served as Vice President of Global and U.S. Medical Affairs at Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company. He also held senior medical affairs and clinical development roles at Genentech. Dr. Rosen received his training in oncology and hematology at the University Hospital Charite in Berlin and participated in a post-doctoral program in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Hamburg. Dr. Rosen obtained his medical degree from the University of Cologne, Germany.

 

Ken Tutunjian
An accomplished real estate professional, Ken brings to the board his expertise in guiding teams and overseeing agents in the selling and renting of condominiums, townhouses, co-ops and rentals. His offices have been recognized nationally for outstanding sales results.

Besides his lengthy and admirable work within the real estate sector, Ken is also very involved in the community.  His involvement includes being a Trustee of the Kingsley Montessori School, Founding Member of Friends of Hayes Park, Chair Person for the “Voices of Courage” for Jewish Family and Children Services, current Board Member for Arts & Business Council for New England and he is on the steering committee for the Algonquin Club of Boston. Recently, Ken was given the “Good Neighbor” award by the Greater Boston Real Estate Board for his work with Community Servings, and particupation in the agency’s largest fundraising event, Pie in the Sky for which he raised $44,973 in 2014.
